2012 in review – the blog edition

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

It’s kind of interesting… I didn’t know that people in Russia and India had read my blog. Or that my 1980s rollerskating post would be the second most popular post this year. 59 posts in a year is not bad… I didn’t set out to blog weekly or anything like that. I didn’t have any goals at all. I never imagined that I would have 2900 visits to my blog – that seems like a lot! pretty cool.

I’m not setting any particular blogging goals for 2013. I like blogging but it’s not really something I think needs goals.

Right now I’m trying to figure out if digital scrapbooking is more of a nuisance than doing it on paper (or more fun?), and whether I really want to go back to having a printer… And how I can finish my book, clean the house, take down the Xmas decorations and do digital scrapbooking all at once. I have some crafty ideas for next year (using Studio Calico’s Handbook album as a mini Project Life?) and I will continue to take and share lots of photos.

Anyway check out my report if you’d like to. And see you back here in the New Year!
