I have had guests visiting from England the last couple of weeks, so we have been busy showing them around our area. We packed a lot into 10 days!
We visited sites around Seattle and neighboring counties and then went on a Goonies pilgrimage to Astoria and Cannon Beach, Oregon. We watched the Seattle Mariners play the Yankees on the day that Ichiro was traded to the Yankees. Boy was I confused when they announced him for the wrong team, but his first at-bat brought a standing ovation and he bowed to the crowd very graciously. We had a bit of rain, a lot of clouds, and some beautiful sunshine. And we ate out a lot! I will be eating very simple meals for the next month or so to get over 2 weeks of restaurant food.
I had a great opportunity to try out my iPhone and its wonderful camera, and instagram. Lots of instagram!
I have figured out my favorite filters – amaro, x-pro and lo-fi, with a few others that work on certain photos that need a different look. I like the way they turned out!
I will share a few more about our travels (and more instagrams, and maybe even some regular photos) in the next couple of days.
